CALENDAR

Sunday Morning Service and Sunday School

  • We meet 10:30-12:00 each Sunday to worship God and encourage each other through sung praise, prayer, preaching of the Word and fellowship.
  • Primary school aged children enjoy their own Sunday School class with DBS checked teachers who are passionate about engaging them with the truth about the God who loves them.
  • There’s no need to book in, just turn up and you’ll be welcome.

Wednesday Evening Bible Study and Prayer

  • During school term-time, we meet each Wednesday 19:00-20:30 at the church building for Bible study and prayer.
  • For study, we usually survey books of the Bible together, but also use pre-written study guides on various topics.
  • Prayer is essential to us and so we take time to seek God for ourselves, our church and our world.
  • We’d love to see you there.

Criss-Cross Seniors

  • Every other Thursday from 14:00-16:00 Chris and Beth Brook lead an afternoon of friendship and fun at the church building.
  • We play board games, bowls, have a natter and drink plenty of tea. We also take trips to local beauty spots and garden centres. Chris usually brings a short thought from the Bible too.
  • Though it’s not exclusively for those in the ‘OAP club’, many mature folk attend Criss-Cross.
  • To find out when Criss-Cross is next on, please see our calendar, or to find out more contact us directly.

Refuge Youth

  • Refuge is our free-to-attend youth group for ages 12-17.
  • We meet term-time 19:00-20:30 on Thursdays at the church building.
  • We mix food, the Bible, life, God, friends and community together to create an environment in which teens can be safe, make friends and learn about Jesus.
  • On a normal Thursday night we have a catch-up with each other, play some games or sport, discuss part of the Bible or a big topic and have some snacks.
  • Each month we have a ‘Go Week’ where we either do a community project or share the Good News of Jesus in some way. We also meet with other youth groups in the Stoke area each month through ‘Rooted Stoke’.
  • To find out what’s upcoming with Refuge, please see our Instagram @refuge.youth.group, calendar, or contact us directly.
