Matt Coster
Matt Coster is our Pastor, having joined the leadership team in mid-2020. Matt began following Jesus in his mid-teens and has since desired to lead people further in their experience of God, particularly through teaching the Bible verse-by-verse. He is husband to Gee, who serves as our Safeguarding Lead, and dad to three boys.
Matt is bivocational, also working as a barista at a well-known coffee chain, and in his free time enjoys being in the great outdoors.
Chris Brook
Chris Brook serves as an advisory Elder on the Church leadership team. He is married to Beth and they were active members of Mow Cop Community Church from 2012 to 2025. The ministry at Mow Cop remains close to their hearts. Over the past 47 years they have been members of a number of Independent Evangelical Churches across the north of England from South Yorkshire up to Cumbria, but now reside near family in Oxfordshire.
Chris Brook
Chris Brook serves as an advisory Elder on the Church leadership team. He is married to Beth and they were active members of Mow Cop Community Church from 2012 to 2025, keeping a keen interest in the ministry. A retired engineer, over the past 47 years he and Beth have been members of a number of Independent Evangelical Churches across the north of England from South Yorkshire up to Cumbria, but now reside near family in Oxfordshire.
